Your Game Minister, Rev. Craig, has 18+ years of experience crafting and leading meaningful, engaging worship services for congregations of all sizes with topics exploring Spiritual Care, Social Justice, Theological Exploration, Unitarian Universalist Principles and Practices, Holiday Traditions and Stories, and—of course—the Ministry of Games and the Spirit of Play.
Rev. Craig has worked with music directors, choir directors, religious educators, worship associates, audio visual technicians, youth presenters, artists, congregational leaders, worship committees, interim ministers, and all manner of UU colleagues. He is a trained storyteller and a skilled orator. His training in trauma response and in therapeutic gamemastering inform and shape the services he crafts for congregations to better meet the challenges of our present day.
Every once in a while, if fortunate, we experience something unexpected, indescribable,
something transformative, something transcendent.
Timeless... and yet, terribly, wonderfully brief.
A Moment of Bliss.
Ever play Let’s Pretend? Ever visit the Kingdom of Make-Believe?
Maybe when we were kids; but, we’re too old for that now… aren’t we?
I certainly hope not.
Grab your chalk, hop on the trolley, board the magic school bus—
A better world and better lives are waiting for us.
Would you like to play a game? Which game?
You choose. The game isn't important to me.
If we play together, then they're all the same.
And we'll win or lose together, cooperatively.
These are few of my most requested service topics. If you would like something different, please let me know. I’ve written a lot of sermons and reflections over the years and I’m sure we can find one that suits your needs.
